Product Description
The Halogen Mitt is a non ventilated downlight product which focuses on fixing the inefficiencies of downlights. The Downlight cover is made out of an intumescent/insulative material taking downlight safety to a new level, while also providing an R-value of 0.5 above the luminaire. The Lamp is energy efficient and also includes a silver backing which forces light and most of the heat downwards away from the roof and the back of the light fitting.The Halogen Mitt product is designed primarily for Gimble fittings which have large gaps for ventilation. Installation of the Downlight Mitt can be done from above or below the Ceiling. Mastic must be used when installing from above.
The Halogen Mitt is designed to change the general operation of a Downlight, to fix draughts,R-value consistency of insulation and Energy efficiency of down lighting.
